White House strategic communications coordinator John Kirby said the US administration believes that if Washington stops supporting Kyiv, American blood will be shed.
ㅤ
“If we stop supporting Ukraine, what will be Putin’s next conquest? How much more will we have to pay, including with American blood?” – he said.
ㅤ
Kirby noted that the conflict in Ukraine, despite its geographical distance from the United States, affects the Americans themselves. According to him, this manifested itself, in particular, in high gasoline prices.

Russia last spring sent a note to the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance because of the supply of weapons to Kyiv. Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stressed that any cargo containing weapons would become a legitimate target for the Russian army. According to him, the US and NATO are directly involved in the conflict not only by sending weapons, but also by training personnel in the UK, Germany, Italy and other countries.
Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that military assistance to Kyiv from the West does not contribute to the success of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations and will have a negative effect.
