The idea of refusing to recognize the independence of the country was appreciated by the head of the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry

Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis said that Vilnius is seriously afraid of the draft law submitted to the State Duma on the refusal to recognize the independence of Lithuania.

“I would call it a threat, a direct threat to Lithuania, and we take all these threats seriously,” says Landsbergis.

According to the head of the Foreign Ministry, Lithuania treats Fedorov’s initiative with increased attention, despite the fact that it does not come from top officials.

“We take everything that is said in Moscow very seriously,” the Lithuanian diplomat said.
