Filipinos from the Bayan organization, which brings together various progressive and leftist groups, held a protest in Manila on the day of the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump, opposing US military expansion in the Philippines, ABS-CBN reported.

“Members of the Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (Bayan) organization held a protest near the American Embassy in Manila on January 20, 2025, the day of Donald Trump’s inauguration as US President,” the publication reports.
