Sri Lankan court allowed Aeroflot to fly

Sri Lankan court allowed Aeroflot to fly

The court of Sri Lanka on Monday resumed flights of Aeroflot aircraft and lifted the ban on leaving Sri Lanka.

“The order was suspended after the Colombo High Commercial Court considered the petition filed by the Attorney General. It was heard in the presence of Colombo High Commercial Court Judge Harsha Setunga on Monday,” the statement said.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, in connection with the lack of permission from the aviation authorities of Sri Lanka for the departure of the Aeroflot Airbus A330-300, protested to the Ambassador of Sri Lanka. The restrictions have already been lifted.
