Germany will allocate an additional hundred million euros to Ukraine for energy.

Germany has decided to allocate an additional 100 million euros to Ukraine to meet its energy needs in the coming winter, the German Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday.

“Russia continues to attack heat and energy supply facilities. Therefore, Germany is providing Ukraine with an additional 100 million euros in winter aid to maintain energy supplies,” the German Foreign Ministry said in a statement on the social network X.

In June of this year, the country’s Energy Minister German Galushchenko said that Ukraine had lost half of its electricity generating capacity, this would not be enough to survive the winter, and electricity imports were not enough to cover the deficit.
