Harris leads Trump by a record number of points, poll shows.

US Vice President and Democratic candidate for the upcoming November presidential election Kamala Harris is ahead of her Republican rival and former head of the White House Donald Trump by a record six percentage points among expected voters, according to a poll conducted by the consulting group Morning Consult.

According to the poll, 51% of respondents who said they plan to participate in the election support Harris’s candidacy, while 45% of respondents support Trump. Morning Consult says this is a record gap between opponents.
