The Iranian President denied the transfer of hypersonic weapons to the Yemeni Houthis.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian denied claims that Iran had transferred hypersonic weapons to Yemen during his first press conference on Monday.

“Iran did not transfer any (hypersonic) missiles that the Yemenis fired at Israeli territory. Iran and Yemen have the same point of view regarding Israel, of course. We have missile power, but the Yemenis themselves have their own technologies,” Pezeshkian said.

The day before, Yemen’s Houthis from the Ansar Allah rebel movement claimed responsibility for a rocket attack on Tel Aviv. The movement’s military spokesman, Yahya Saria, said the attack on the Israeli city was carried out using a hypersonic ballistic missile.
