The US Minister of Transport commented on a plane crash in Washington

The new US Minister of Transport, Sean Duffy, said he did not expect to start a new post with such a tragedy as a plane crash over Washington, and said that he was developing a plan to “fix the situation” in the Federal Civil Aviation Administration (FAA).

The day before, US President Donald Trump signed a memorandum ordering the FAA to immediately conduct aviation security in the States.

“This is not what I expected from my first working day, but I believe that God puts us exactly where we should be …. now I am developing the initial plan to correct the situation with the Federal Civil Aviation Administration. I hope to publish it in The most nearby”,  the US Minister of Transport wrote on his page on the social network X.

Daffi also said that he met some families who lost their loved ones in the plane crash.

On Thursday night, a civilian aircraft and a military helicopter collided near the Reagan Washington Airport. On board the aircraft were 60 passengers and four crew members, three crew members on board the helicopter.

US President Donald Trump reported that there were no survivors of the plane crash.
