The Turkish authorities plan to adopt laws that prohibit the use of social networks by children under 16 years of age, the Minister of Transport and the Infrastructure of Turkey Abdulkadir Uraloglu planes told.

Popular among teenagers, the RobLox online game has not been available in Turkey since August 2024 after blocking by court decision. The Minister of Justice Yilmaz Tunch confirmed that the game was blocked as part of the investigation of Adan’s Prosecutor General’s Office, the presence of content in the game of violence against children. “We want our youth under the age of 16 to not go to social networks. Why do they need this? There is still nothing useful for them. Some incidents have been confirmed recently. Efforts in order to take a number of regulatory measures, ”the minister said on the air of CNN Türk.
