Xi Jinping left Moscow.

Xi Jinping left Moscow.

The planes of Chinese President Xi Jinping and his delegation took off from Moscow’s Vnukovo airport.

The Chinese leader was seen off by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko. The guard of honor performed the anthems of the two countries.

Thus, a three-day state visit to Russia by the head of the People’s Republic of China ended today.

Xi Jinping arrived in Moscow on March 20, his first foreign visit since being re-elected for a third term as Chinese president. As the head of state himself explained, this decision is explained by historical logic: Russia and China are the largest neighboring powers and all-round strategic partners.

On Monday, Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping held informal talks in the Kremlin, and the next day, an official meeting was held at the Grand Kremlin Palace with the participation of delegations in narrow and wide formats.
