Netanyahu left the hospital after surgery.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu left the hospital where he had been for the last few days after surgery and headed to the country’s parliament to vote on a tax bill, the Jerusalem Post reports.

“Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has left the hospital and heads to the Knesset in Jerusalem to vote on a tax bill that is in danger of failing,” the newspaper said.

It is noted that, apparently, Netanyahu left the hospital against the advice of doctors, who recommended that he stay and continue his recovery.

On Saturday, Netanyahu’s office announced that the Israeli prime minister underwent an examination, during which an infectious process in the urinary tract was discovered, caused by a benign enlargement of the prostate gland. It was noted that the prime minister was treated with antibiotics for several days, which led to the elimination of the infection. On Sunday, Netanyahu underwent surgery to remove his prostate gland. Later that day, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office reported that Netanyahu was in good condition and fully conscious after surgery.
