China has imposed restrictions against 28 US companies.

The Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China has imposed restrictions on the supply of dual-use products in relation to 28 American companies. The corresponding statement was published on the regulator’s website.

“In accordance with the Export Control Law of the People’s Republic of China and the Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on the Export Control of Dual-Use Goods, in order to protect China’s national security and interests, as well as within the framework of fulfilling international non-proliferation obligations, the Chinese side has decided to include in the export list control of 28 American companies,” the department said in a statement.

As specified, starting from January 2, 2025, the export of Chinese dual-use products in the interests of these companies without special permission from the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China is prohibited. The list of companies subject to restrictive measures includes General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin Corporation, Boeing Defense, Space & Security and other US companies.
