The US Treasury Department has imposed sanctions against the Chinese company Integrity Technology Group (also known as Yongxin Zhicheng), accused of facilitating government cyber attacks, the department said in a statement on Friday.

It said Integrity Technology Group, which is traded on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, is accused of running a botnet linked to the Flax Typhoon hacker group. This group, according to the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), is engaged in cyber espionage and carries out cyber attacks on computer and industrial devices around the world connected to the Internet.
