This virus, like other infections, is especially active during the seasonal peak incidence of ARVI and influenza. According to experts, it is transmitted mainly by airborne droplets, less often by household contact.

The main symptoms of metapneumovirus:

cough,
runny nose,
dyspnea,
fever,
headache.
