The President of Lebanon has approved the composition of the new Government

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has accepted the resignation of Prime Minister Najib Mikati’s government and approved the composition of the country’s new government headed by Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, the office of the country’s president said. 

“President Aoun signed a decree accepting the resignation of the government of Najib Mikati, a decree appointing Prime Minister Nawafu Salama to form a government, and also signed a decree with the appointed Prime Minister on the formation of a government of 24 ministers,” according to the presidential office’s page on the social network X.
