Poland: COVID restrictions extended for another week with two exceptions

In Poland, nurseries and kindergartens will be reopened, and open-air sports will be allowed again from Monday, Health Minister Adam Niedzielski announced.

In his Wednesday address, the top health official has explained some moments in the upcoming new normal life. Across Poland, all the rest of the restrictions will remain in place until April 25, while hotels and hostels will be closed until May 3.

From April 19, the EU country will reopen nurseries, kindergartens and allow open-air sports. The business will have to wait for the next reopening, indeed.

According to the statistics, Poland registered 803 covid-related deaths on Wednesday, the second-highest figure since the start of a pandemic. As TVN24 reports, Poland with 38 million people grapples with the third wave of the pandemic.
