Nine countries created the “Hague group” to support Palestine

Nine countries created the Hague Group to support Palestine and its right to independence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bolivia said.

“Representatives of the governments of Bolivia, Belize, Cuba, Colombia, Honduras, Malaysia, Namibia, Senegal and the South African Republic in the Hague established the” Hague group “and confirm the immutability of their commitment to international law and justice, as well as the coordination of joint legal measures” , – the message says.

A joint statement says that countries support the requests of the International Criminal Court and fulfill their obligations on Roman status in relation to orders for arrests responsible for international crimes committed in the occupied territory of Palestine issued on November 21, 2024.

The Hague Group decided that it would continue to take further effective measures in order to put the end of the Israeli occupation of Palestine and eliminate obstacles to the realization of the right of the Palestinian people to self determination, including the right to an independent Palestinian state, ”the Bolivian Foreign Ministry noted.


In addition, the Hague Group calls on other countries of the international community to join this initiative.
