Musk announced the transfer of SpaceX headquarters to a new city.

American entrepreneur Elon Musk announced on the social network X that the headquarters of the aerospace company SpaceX, which he owns, will be moved to the new city of Starbase, which is a space base for the Starbase company.

Musk reposted on social media X the text of a letter that SpaceX sent to a local judge asking for an election to give its Starbase construction and space launch site in south Texas the status of a separate city. It is reported that several hundred company employees live on the base.

“SpaceX will now officially be headquartered in Starbase, Texas,” Musk wrote.
