Ivanka Trump is a rather complicated neighbour due to her status of the first daughter. Her Washington neighbours are tired of the security squads and measures, which ruined the peaceful enjoyment of the houses with their metal barricade and extra security.
Tension is mounting between first daughter Ivanka Trump and her new Washington neighbours, as the size of her security detail frustrates nearby residents in the Kalorama neighbourhood.
Marti Robinson lives across from the house of Trump Kushner, she is an ex-appointee in the Obama administration noted the new neighbours completely taken over the entire street. For the first time, it has metal barricades and extra security. “As if they have the authority!” Robinson claims.
“It is every bit as disruptive as if a very active business was allowed to come into this residential neighbourhood,”
she said.
When Ivanka and Jared arrived in Kalorama, the neighbours delivered a hand-written welcome letter. Of course, they took into account the highest level of the newcomers but for now, their patience is running thin as the security detail continues to inconvenience neighbours.
Five neighbours wrote to Washington Mayor Muriel Bowser over the issues, and a dozen others wrote the local Advisory Neighborhood Commission complaining about the “No Parking” signs. In other words, to have as the neighbours the members of President’s family is the complex case because your peaceful life is over.
