Erdogan will host the NATO Secretary General on Monday.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will receive NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte at his residence in Ankara on Monday, according to the schedule of events of the Turkish leader, published on Monday by his office.

According to the schedule, in the afternoon the Turkish leader will receive Rutte at his residence, after which he will hold a cabinet meeting.

Following the meeting with the NATO Secretary General, an official statement from the Turkish leader’s office is expected.

Earlier, a diplomatic source in Ankara clarified that Rutte intends to hold meetings in the Turkish capital with Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Minister of National Defense Yashar Güler and other officials.
