Ed Sheeran will appear in a small cameo in the next season of “Game of thrones”, David Benioff and Dan Weiss confirmed that. Probably, Season 7 will show Ed as the unrecognisable character on screen, promise producers.
Ed Sheeran will be the next musician who appears in the ‘Game of Thrones’, in previous seasons the fans could see several musical cameos: guys from Coldplay, Mastodon, Of Monsters and Men, and Sigur Ros.
Game of Thrones’s producers decided to include the mega-popular star Ed Sheeran into the seventh season’s cast. The British singer will make a cameo appearance, Ed has confirmed the news on his Twiter account, noting “guess the cat’s out the bag”. The details of his role are still unknown but fans are excited already.
The only question is if Ed will perform the vocal parts in the movie? Actually, the writers haven’t yet prepared a role for the singer and didn’t decide – make him recognisable or not.
Other stars were performing in GoT like Sigur Ros and Of Monsters and Men, so Sheeran’s admirers hope to see and to hear him as well.
GoT creators Benioff and Weiss warned the viewers that Season 8 (the final one) of the TV-show will only contain six episodes hinted at just seven in the upcoming run. The fresh season start date is July 16, 2017 during an odd Facebook live stream.
