Israel will release 183 Palestinian prisoners on Saturday

Israel will release 183 Palestinian prisoners on Saturday, including 111 residents of the Gaza Strip detained after October 7, 2023, the office for prisoners of War in the Palestinian Hamas movement said.

“After the resistance (Hamas) handed over the list of Zionist prisoners, 18 prisoners sentenced to life in prison, 54 long-term prisoners and 111 from the Gaza Strip who were detained after October 7 will be released tomorrow, Saturday, as part of the first stage of the exchange deal,” the statement said.

Earlier, the Al-Qassam brigades (the military wing of the Palestinian Hamas movement) announced that they would release three more hostages on Saturday.
