Israel will prepare a plan allowing Gazans to leave the enclave

Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz instructed the army to prepare a plan allowing Gazans to voluntarily leave the enclave and travel anywhere in the world, the defense ministry’s press service reported.

“I welcome the bold plan of US President Donald Trump. Gazans should be given freedom of exit and immigration, as is customary around the world. The plan will include options for departure through land crossings, as well as special measures for departure by sea and air,” the minister’s words are quoted in the message.

Katz stressed that he had instructed the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to prepare a plan that would allow any Gazan to “leave for any place in the world that accepts him.”
