Poland will fight the crime of migrants in the country, Tusk said

MPolish authorities will develop a program to combat crimes that are increasingly being committed by foreigners in the republic, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said at a joint press conference with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

“I have made a decision and appealed to the Ministers of Internal Affairs and Justice to present a quick plan for an immediate response to organized crime by foreigners. Anyone who stays in Poland and seriously violates the law will be deported from Poland,” he said.

According to Tusk, “there have been too many cases recently that show that if you turn a blind eye to such things, the consequences will be sad.”

“In the coming days, there will be decisive actions that will limit crime, if we talk about migrants and foreigners staying in Poland,” Tusk said.

The Head of the European Commission, together with the Board of Commissioners, took part in an off-site meeting of the European Commission, which took place in the capital of the Pomeranian Voivodeship of Poland, Gdansk, on the occasion of the Polish presidency of the European Union.
