Africa’s voice must be heard, Congo said.

Africa’s voice must be heard, Congo said.

Africa must have a voice in all international organizations where issues of the modern world order are discussed,  the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Congo, Jean-Claude Gakosso said.

According to him, Africa must be heard in all organizations and in all forums where issues of the modern world order are discussed.

“This is the case with the G20, and we are grateful to all the countries that contributed to Africa joining the G20 so that this part of the world can also have a voice, can express itself in its uniqueness,” the minister said.

As for the UN Security Council, it is exactly the same. Already now, most issues, almost 60% of security problems concern the African continent… Therefore, we cannot continue to discuss these issues, see these issues on the agenda of the United Nations in the absence representative or representatives of this continent itself,” he said.
