SpaceX has sent 13 US military satellites into space.

The American company SpaceX sent 13 military satellites into space on a Falcon 9 rocket in the interests of the Pentagon.

The satellite constellation, being created in low Earth orbit as part of the Proliferated Warfighter program, will detect and track missile launches, as well as provide “global military communications.”

The company, owned by entrepreneur Elon Musk, broadcast live the launch of the reusable Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.

The launch, which was postponed twice, was the 61st since the beginning of the year for the company, which thus already repeated the record of 2022 and has every chance of surpassing it in the remaining four months.
