Donald Trump is thinking about the engineering, one of his new idea regarding the border wall between the US and Mexico is so-called ‘solar wall’. The POTUS is a very creative person, undoubtedly.
Trump’s administration is considering the proposals from businessmen for the construction of the border wall between Mexico and the United States. One unusual proposal draws attention by its originality, Las Vegas engineer Tom Gleason offered to use the solar panels on the border wall.
The Trump administration has yet to make serious headway on the president’s emblematic but hugely costly campaign pledge to build a wall on the Mexican border. Under pressure from Democrats, the US Congress has so far refused to commit funding to the project, agreeing only to finance maintenance on existing parts of the border fence.
Regarding the solar wall, it sounds great but the critics note that even if Donald Trump was not joking about the panels, it is likely the would disappear within weeks of being installed.
Mexico-US wall: plans and new Trump’s ideas
Mr Trump told supporters at a rally on Wednesday evening in Iowa that a solar wall would ‘create energy and pay for itself’. The real funding battle will play out starting in October, when 2018 budget negotiations begin in earnest.
US President Donald Trump has said his planned wall on the Mexican border could feature solar panels – joking it would mean Mexico would have to ‘pay less money’.
‘We’re thinking about building the wall as a solar wall, so it creates energy and pays for itself,’
US President said and added that solar wall would be just beautiful and so useful! The higher a wall goes the more valuable it is.
