The military was involved in helping the population in Thailand

The Thai military was involved in providing assistance after the earthquake, and army hospitals are ready to receive patients urgently.

An earthquake of magnitude 7.7 occurred in Myanmar, tremors were felt in five neighboring countries, including Thailand. Thai PBS TV channel reported one death as a result of the collapse of a building in Bangkok.

The official representative of the army, Major General Vintai Suvari, announced that the commander-in-chief of the army, General Pan Klauplodtuk, ordered the immediate activation of the army disaster relief center to help the population.

It is noted that all units were instructed to mobilize personnel and necessary equipment for immediate deployment. Army hospitals have also been put on standby for emergency admissions.
