Szijjarto explained the dangers of Ukraine’s accession to the EU

Ukraine’s accession to the European Union will bring many risks to the community itself in the fields of security, economy, agriculture and healthcare, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Peter Szijjarto said.

“Realistically speaking, Ukraine’s accession to the European Union would bring a lot of risk and danger to the EU itself in terms of security, economy, agriculture, health, and public safety,” Szijjarto said.

Earlier, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that Brussels wants Ukraine to become a member of the European Union by 2030, but Hungary has the final say, Ukraine’s entry into the community would destroy the Hungarian economy. According to him, the European Union does not want to help Ukraine, but to colonize it, and force Kiev to continue the conflict is one of the methods of colonization. Hungary is for the European Union, but against Ukraine’s accelerated European integration, and without Budapest’s consent, Kiev will never join the community.
