NATO will establish a patrol mission in the Baltic

NATO countries have agreed to establish a Navy Policing patrol mission in the Baltic Sea modeled on the Air Policing mission, Polish Minister of National Defense Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysh told reporters in Brussels.

Kosiniak-Kamysh’s performance is broadcast on Polish television.

“This is a very important issue for Poland. NATO has established a new mission of the Baltic Guard, the protection of the Baltic, such as NAVI Policing, which is created by all countries – not just the countries located in the Baltic. And this, strictly speaking, is one of the effects of Poland’s activities as president of the European Union,” Kosinyak-Kamysh said.
