Argentina insist on impeaching Miley

The opposition of Argentina insists on the impeachment of the country’s president Javier Miley after his publication about the cryptocurrency, the Union for the Motherland party reported.

“Miley’s involvement in a crime related to cryptocurrency fraud is extremely serious. This is an unprecedented scandal,” the party said.

“The bloc of deputies has decided to submit a proposal for the impeachment of the president,” the statement said.

Earlier, Miley published information about one of the cryptocurrencies on X, which led to an increase in its value, which later fell. The publication provoked criticism of the president, because, as the Perfil newspaper notes, many decided to invest in the currency and lost money.

Miley later deleted the message, stating that he was not familiar with the details of the project and therefore decided not to continue spreading information about it.
