Britain called for the parliament on the issue of sending troops to Ukraine

The leader of the British Party of Liberal Democrats, ED Davi, called on Prime Minister Kira Starmer to suspend a break in the work of the parliament in order to discuss the potential sending of troops to Ukraine and plans to “save” against the backdrop of negotiations between the delegations of the Russian Federation and the USA in Saudi Arabia.

The British parliament went to February and will return to work on February 24. In emergency situations, the government may ask the speaker of the House of Commons (Lower Chamber) to call deputies during the holidays.

“Cyrus Starmer must convene a parliament to discuss his plans to support Ukraine. We have only a few days that the UK has become a leader in Europe and saved Ukraine from … a transaction, concocted by Trump and Putin,” Davi wrote on his page in social networks X.

Earlier, Starkmer said that Britain is ready to introduce its troops into Ukraine, if necessary, to ensure guarantees of the country’s security. He later said that the potential deployment of the Armed Forces of European countries in Ukraine should be supported by US security guarantees.
