The German military will not go to Ukraine, Berbok said

German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbok said that the German military would not be sent to Ukraine “to the hot phase” of the conflict.

“The military will not be sent to this hot phase,” Berbok said.

According to Germany, Germany cannot agree that negotiations in Riyadh between the United States and Russia are held without Ukraine.

“If there is no peace for us Europeans, this cannot give a strong world. Because the fictitious world is not a world, but some kind of deal that leads only to an even greater war,” she said.

Earlier it was reported that the European Union countries at an informal summit in Parishe was parting on the issue of sending a peacekeeping contingent to Ukraine. The Chancellor of Germany Olaf Sholts said that he was embarrassed by the debates about the deployment of troops in Ukraine, since at the moment the possible options for the outcome of peace negotiations are not known. British Prime Minister Cyrus Starmer said that the potential deployment of military countries in Ukraine, including Great Britain, should be supported by US security guarantees.
