Kellyanne Conway is the Counsellor to the President of the USA, she allowed herself to have feet on the Oval office couch and to post this photo on the social networks. Of course, White House has its own protocol but, it seems, Kellyanne Conway doesn’t really care.
The photo of Kellyanne Conway’s feet on the couch in the Oval office crowded with the guests, sparks Twitter firestorm. People are perplexed with such a behaviour of the senior Trump’s Counsellor, her disrespecting the protocol us just unbelievable.
On Monday, President Donald Trump met with leaders of Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the Oval Office of the White House. During this meeting, Mrs Conway was sitting on the couch and taking the photo of the guests. With her feet on the White House’s couch, what a charming spontaneity!
In fact, the photos of Trump’s Counsellor have split the social media community for two sides, while one part says they don’t really care about feet on the furniture, other people are shaming Conway for the ignoring the protocol – the Oval office is not her own one, yet, at least. So, why do we need a protocol in the White House at all?
White House adviser Kellyanne Conway responded Tuesday to the social media firestorm that erupted over a photo of her with her feet up on an Oval Office couch, she told Lou Dobbs in an interview on the Fox Business Network:
“I was being asked to take a picture in a crowded room with the press behind us, and I was asked to take a certain angle and was doing exactly that. I certainly meant no disrespect. I didn’t mean to have my feet on the couch.”
Sounds too weak for the counsellor of the POTUS, she needs to see everything and be extremely attentive, that’s her job, at last.
