The first daughter made the same mistake as Hillary Clinton earlier, she used her personal email for government business, SkyNews reported.
Ivanka Trump is under fire after reports that she used her private email for governmental issues, the White House ethics officials found such a behaviour unacceptable. The security experts have been reviewing emails gathered last year by five cabinet agencies and revealed that the first daughter and the senior advisor to the President used her personal email for non-personal business.
The revelation prompted immediate accusations of hypocrisy. Ironically, Donald Trump branded his 2016 election rival “Crooked Hillary” Clinton over her use of a private email server and encouraged supporters in chants of “Lock her up!”
Meantime, Philippe Reines, Hillary’s campaign aide, tweeted: “John Kelly [White House chief of staff] must be compelled to explain to Congress why Ivanka & Jared’s security clearances were granted on a permanent basis despite their email practices being known at that time to the White House as running afoul of security requirements.”
Ivanka Trump denies she could send emails contained classified information
According to the review, throughout 2017, Ivanka Trump Kushner often discussed or relayed official White House business using a private email account with a domain that she shares with her husband, Jared Kushner. Ivanka’s excuse is that she was unaware of some details of the records rules, Peter Mirijanian, a spokesman for her lawyer and ethics counsel, Abbe Lowell. The lawyer team also insists that Ms Trump denies sending any of the messages contained classified information.
