In Yemen, more than 30 people were killed in attacks by the US Armed Forces on provinces in the north and central part of the country, the Ministry of Health, created by the Houthis, said on the social network X.

“The number of victims of the American raids on Yemen has increased to 31, and 101 more were injured,” the publication says.

Shortly before that, Al-Masirah TV channel reported that ten people were killed when an apartment building collapsed after American air strikes in the city of Saada in northern Yemen.

On Saturday evening, the US Central Command announced the launch of a large-scale operation against the Ansar Allah movement in Yemen to protect American interests. At the same time, they launched a series of attacks on targets of this movement throughout the country. Attacks are still ongoing, in particular on the province of Saada, which is considered a stronghold of the Houthis.

The Ansar Allah movement controls most of Yemen’s Red Sea coast. After the escalation of the Middle East conflict, the Houthis began attacking ships associated with Israel, which dramatically reduced shipping through the Suez Canal. In addition, the rebels are launching rocket and drone strikes against Israel.
