Guinea-Bissau called for preventing a repeat of what happened in Gaza in Lebanon.

Guinea-Bissau fully supports Palestine and expects that the world community will not allow what happened in Gaza to happen in Lebanon,  Carlos Pereira, Foreign Minister of the West African country said.

“We fully support Palestine and their position, as well as Lebanon. We hope that the international community will not allow what happened in Gaza to happen in Lebanon,” Pereira said on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.

He stressed that the situation in the Middle East is very dangerous, and it is unknown when the escalation that has begun will end.
