Brad Pitt and Gwyneth Paltrow wan an item from 1994 to 1997, that was an early stage of their acting career and Gwyneth was very vulnerable. Brad even had to confront Harvey Weinstein in 1994 after the Hollywood mogul sexually propositioned Ms Paltrow.

Brad Pitt has confirmed in an interview with The New York Times that Gwyneth Paltrow was among the actresses who experienced the sexual harassment from Harvey Weinstein. On Tuesday, Gwyneth too claimed that she had been victim of Weinstein’s sexual misconduct when she was 22.

Paltrow revealed that Weinstein put his hands on her suggestively and tried to lead her into a bedroom to have a joint massage in his suite at The Peninsula Hotel during a meeting that her agents at C.A.A. had set up when she refused. After that Gwyneth’s confession this week, Brad confirmed that fact of their joint biography with no comments on this subject. Over decades he kept it in secret because Gwyneth didn’t want to recall it.

Of course, Brad Pitt, her then-boyfriend, confronted Weinstein in 1994 when they later ran into one another, the young actor and a gentleman defended her girlfriend’s dignity.

In her interview on Tuesday, Paltrow told how Weinstein was afraid she was going to lose the title role in Emma, Weinstein’s 1996 adaptation of the Jane Austen novel when the incident in his room occurred.

‘I was a kid, I was signed up, I was petrified,’

Paltrow recalled. She rebuffed him and left promptly, later telling Pitt about the encounter.

Brad Pitt was shocked when he found out that Gwyneth was not the only victim of the Hollywood predator, his estranged wife Angelina Jolie confirmed she was on the list of Weinstein’s victims.

They join Asia Argento, Rose McGowan, Ashley Judd, Rosanna Arquette and Mira Sorvino who all say they were at some point sexually harassed by Weinstein over the last 30 years.
