Angelina Jolie warns Trump’s travel ban is ‘playing with fire’

The actress and activist Jolie in an editorial for the New York Times insists that political decision shouldn’t be based on fears like this ban.

Angelina Jolie raises her voice as a UN special envoy, saying that the 90-day ban, issued by Trump administration on Friday, is a controversial document. Being signed this order, Donald Trump is ‘playing with fire,’ said Jolie. Angie is known as an activist who all the time visiting the refugee camps all over the world.

According to the ex-wife of Brad Pitt, this presidential move harms refugees and threatens to fuel extremism. many Hollywood start supported Jolie in her opinion too. The actress explained her angry with the new decree of Trump:

“Every time we depart from our values we worsen the very problem we are trying to contain. We must never allow our values to become the collateral damage of a search for greater security. Shutting our door to refugees or discriminating among them is not our way, and does not make us safer.”

Angelina noted in her article that government of any country has the only one aim: keep a balance the needs of its citizens with its international responsibilities. And every decision should ‘be based on facts, not fear.’
