Oscar ceremony this year was a controversial and politicised event, moreover, the most powerful couple in Hollywood didn’t attend in Dolby Theatre. A year ago everything was totally different – Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were at a zenith of their glory.
Brad Pitt skipped this year’s Oscar ceremony, the same did his estranged wife Angelina Jolie. In fact, she took all six children and went to Cambodia where the actress and director had premiered her new film ‘First they killed my father’ about the dark times of Pol Pot’s Kampuchea. So, Angie hinted that Oscar is not the necessary thing in her own life.
As a matter of fact, both actors are suffering from the divorce, this tense situation doesn’t look like the amicable separation absolutely. However, the 2017 Academy Awards was enough bright and vivid even without Brad and Angelina.
Why Brad Pitt skipped the Oscar ceremony
Despite the absence of handsome Brad Pitt who looks after divorce simply gorgeous, there were a lot of A-listers, The Hollywood’s best and brightest. One such constant in years past was Brad Pitt, who was noticeably absent from last night’s ceremony.
Pitt’s first wife, Jennifer Aniston, was second row and center for the Oscars. His second wife, Angelina Jolie, has been keeping a relatively low profile since the couple’s highly-publicized divorce, so it came as no surprise that she wasn’t on hand.
Pitt appeared at the Golden Globes last month, where he handed the night’s top prize to Moonlight, which also won Best Picture at last night’s ceremony. Brad Pitt now looks good, the actor has working hard to get himself in the current optimum shape:
“He’s focusing on himself again, watching what he eats and has a chef making him healthy meals. He’s had a lot of time to focus on himself.”
