Hillary Clinton was disappointed by elections’ results, but they didn’t break her spirit. According to sources, the former Democratic presidential nominee plans to return to the political Olympus.
Clinton plans to enter to the new life with her husband Bill. Friends and colleagues believe the couple will re-enter the game by the 2018 midterms with the aid of political fundraising and other events. These sources don’t have doubts Clintons will return, as the “resilience is in [their] DNA”, as Mack McLarty, Hillary Clinton’s first White House chief of staff said.
The former presidential nominee already made some steps in her political return. They include Clinton’s potential participation in next elections of the mayor of New York.
Clinton’s attempts to return also can include recent messages about her plans to create own TV show. The project’s potential goal is to help the politician to prepare for the next White House run.
“As a TV host, she’d discuss the issues of the day from a progressive point of view, have top guests, interview world leaders and progressive thinkers,” a close Clinton insider told yesterday.
Sources believe Clinton sees the TV show as an opportunity to energize her supporters and the Democratic Party. Show’s strategy won’t allow the embarrassment because of the total control of the lead, they added.
While close people mentioned Clinton sounded very serious when she mentioned the show, there aren’t any evidences that she already spoke with representatives of networks about her ideas. If a show does come to fruition, 69-year-old Clinton would be the second oldest female news or talk show host on television after Joy Behar of ABC’s “The View”.

Clinton highlighted that millions of women worldwide should not stop demonstrations in behalf of the protection of their rights in the wake of Donald Trump’s inauguration. She shared her experience of overseeing of these marches with People Magazine.
“We watched women and men across this country and the globe stand up, speak out, and peacefully march for those values with one voice. It was awe-inspiring. We have to keep up the momentum.”
