The leadership of Saudi Arabia expressed their readiness to support Syria in the process of restoring the state while maintaining the integrity of the country, the president of Syria said for the transition period Ahmed al-Sharaa, who visited Riyadh in the framework of his first foreign visit as the head of state.

“Today we held a long meeting at which we felt and heard a sincere desire to support Syria in building its future, as well as the desire to support the will of the Syrian people and the unity and integrity of its lands,” the words of Ash Sharaa are given in the Telegram channel of the Syria Ministry of Information.

According to Ash Sharaa, during the negotiations, the issues of cooperation in all areas were raised, especially in humanitarian and economic. The parties discussed advanced plans for the future in areas of energy and technology, education and healthcare to achieve this partnership aimed at maintaining peace and stability in the entire region and improving the economic situation of the Syrian people.

“This is in addition to continuing political and diplomatic cooperation to strengthen the role of Syria in Arabic and international issues, especially after the discussions spent in the capital of Saudi Arabia Er-Riyada last month,” Ash Sharaa added.
