The Belarusian delegation in the OSCE expressed regret in connection with the continuing unreasonable criticism of Minsk due to the presidential election and stated that Western countries should change the tone for respectful if they want to be heard.
⠀
According to the CEC, the current President Alexander Lukashenko received 86.82% of the votes in the elections of the election on January 26.
⠀
“If among the states of the political West there are countries that are truly interested in being heard, we recommend that they change the tone from arrogant to calm and respectful. The speakers, convinced of their absolute correctness, are always, of course, They can continue their meaningless “work in Belarus,” the voice of friends is always heard well – inseparable and benevolent,” Belarusian diplomats said at a meeting of the constant council of the organization in Vienna.
⠀
Diplomats emphasized that in Belarus, they regret to continue the continuation of unreasonable criticism of the republic from individual Western countries using clicked labels and sanctions threats.
⠀
“Belarus took note of the submitted statements of the Western countries in connection with the elections that were held in Belarus. Such a reaction did not surprise us. We are forced to state that this statement deliberately distorts the facts and does not take into account objective realities in Belarus and the world. Moreover, this rhetoric is used against the background their own systemic problems, growing internal disunity, the degradation of positions in the international arena of the “collective West”. This position, as evidenced by the objective experience of the last decades, will not lead to anything other than a further deterioration in the relations of Western countries with Belarus, ” the Belarusian delegation emphasizes.
⠀
In turn, the statement says that the normalization of these relations could be beneficial primarily to the initiators of the statement to solve common problems for all problems in the European region and the world.
⠀
“The difference between the estimates of the observers from more than 50 countries, including the Western ones, and the stamps voiced today, under the influence of some of these countries, made a decision on non -participation in the monitoring of elections in Belarus, is obvious. Their choice clearly spoke out for the continuation of the line to build a strong and prosperous state and to form our own, which meets our history, the traditions and mentality of the model of a modern democratic civil society, ”the Belarusian diplomat added.
⠀
They drew the attention of Western colleagues, that the continuation and increase in sanction pressure, the dead end and counter -productivity of which has not been in doubt for a long time, will not affect the course elected by citizens of Belarus.
