The Activities of the UN Agency to help Palestinian refugees and the organization of work (Bapor) will be completely banned in Israel within 48 hours, the Bapor personnel must leave the offices, and Israel will stop all contacts with the organization, the official representative of the Israeli government David Menzers said on Wednesday.

According to Menzer, Bapor is a “shield for terrorism”, since the school of this UN agency in the Gaza Strip was built over the tunnels of the Palestinian movement of Hamas.

“After 48 hours, the Bapor’s activity will be prohibited in Israel, there will be no offices, contacts and operations. Bapor poses a threat to Israel’s national security. It is impossible to demand that the agency’s activity that finances its opponents,” the Cabinet’s speaker told at a briefing for journalists.

Menzers noted that more than 1.2 thousand members of Hamas were employed in Bapor, including “terrorists who arranged a massacre on October 7, 2023.”

“This is not help, but direct financing of terrorism,” Cabinet’s speaker added.
