Democrats in the United States are responsible for the assassination attempts on former President and Republican candidate Donald Trump, as they made him a target, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene wrote on social network X.

“The Democrats and their partners in the mainstream media are responsible for the assassination attempts on President Trump. Their rhetoric is quite clear. They targeted Trump, and many directly called for his execution,” the congresswoman said.

She also called on Democrats to abandon such attacks and statements that could cause aggression. As an example of aggressive rhetoric on the part of the Democrats, Taylor Greene cited statements by US Vice President Kamala Harris that Trump is a threat to democracy. In addition, she pointed to statements by current US President Joe Biden, in which he called Trump an “existential threat” and “the embodiment of extremism.”

The second assassination attempt on Trump occurred on September 15 at his golf club in Florida. According to law enforcement officials, Secret Service officers opened fire on the intruder, who was hiding in the bushes. The man ran away and tried to escape in a car, but was detained. At the place where he was spotted, an AK-47 assault rifle with an optical sight, two backpacks and a GoPro action camera were found. The FBI joined the investigation. The first attempt on Trump’s life occurred on July 13 in Pennsylvania.

The US presidential elections will take place on November 5th. The Democratic Party will be represented by Vice President Harris, and the Republican Party by former President Trump.
