A plane crashed onto a car with children during an air show rehearsal in Turin

A five-year-old girl in the car died when the plane of the Frecce Tricolore aerobatic team crashed at a military base near Turin.

The incident occurred during a training flight ahead of Sunday’s airshow. As specified, the plane crashed while landing. As it fell off the runway, it hit a car containing a family of four. A five-year-old girl died on the spot from burns, and her nine-year-old brother was injured. He and his parents were hospitalized in serious condition.

It is noted that the pilot of the aircraft was also taken to the hospital.

Italian media distributed video footage of the crash. It shows how the pilot ejects from the plane, opening his parachute at a low altitude.
