The Polish Foreign Ministry announced the timing of the report on reparations from Russia.

The Polish Foreign Ministry announced the timing of the report on reparations from Russia.

Poland wants to submit a report on the reparations it intends to demand from Russia by autumn, said Deputy Foreign Minister Arkadiusz Mulyarchik, the government’s authorized representative for reparations.

The next parliamentary elections are to be held in the fall in the country.

“We are constantly studying the field of military losses suffered by Poland from the Soviet Union during World War II. During the current Sejm powers, we want to make this topic public and prepare a publication that will become an important voice in the discussion both in Poland and abroad,” Mulyarchik said.

Earlier, the Polish authorities have repeatedly stated that the republic first wants to achieve reparations from Germany, which has already been billed for 1.3 trillion dollars, and then it can go over to Russia with similar claims.
