Prince Charles turned 70, so, Queen hosted a reception in the State Rooms, followed by a sit-down dinner. Duchess Meghan and her husband joined Kate Middleton and Prince William to wish the Prince of Wales a happy birthday. It is thought a number of famous guests and royals from Europe attended the private party.
A glowing and pregnant Meghan Markle donned a glamorous updo and gorgeous drop earrings for the royal bash, the first one in her being a part of the British royal family. Prince Charles looked happy and relaxed, talking to his guests. “How am I feeling? Older, older,” Charles told the press as he arrived at Spencer House. “I’m not sure, it’s rather like indigestion, many happy returns are not quite the same thing as you get older.”
