Michelle Obama who successfully organized the two-day Chicago summit last week head off to Las Vegas for having some fun. The former first lady accompanied Valerie Jarrett, her old good friend and ex-press secretary of Barack Obama. Valerie has the birthday on Wednesday, so the women decided to mark it by visiting Elton John concert in Sin City.
The former first lady headed to Las Vegas alongside Valerie Jarrett, who was getting an early start on her upcoming birthday. Valerie now is Lyft board director, her flawless resume and amazing years of working on the President of the US made her successful woman and role model for every American girl.
Ms Jarrett will turn 61 next on November 8, and to celebrate she enjoyed a jam-packed weekend surrounded by friends and family that kicked off on Friday with dinner in a private room at TAO Asian Bistro in luxury The Venetian.
On their second night in Vegas, the group headed over to catch Elton John perform at The Colosseum at Ceaser’s Palace, with Jarrett posting a photo before the show.
The trip to Sin City worked out perfectly for Michelle, who had to be in San Francisco on Tuesday to deliver an address at Dreamforce.

Last week, the former first lady was the central figure of the summit in Chicago, which gathered about 500 participants from 60 countries. Prince Harry also attended this the two-day event, which aimed to inspire a new generation of leaders, in Chicago’s South Loop.
In her address, Mrs Obama spoke about the inspiration of her Chicago relatives and the self-confidence she was given. She urged women in the crowd to find their voices and use them. Barack Obama formally closed the summit by thanking those who attended.
“You are right there, ready, and able to transform the world,”
the ex-POTUS said.
Thanks to Michelle Obama, the headliners of Chicago summit were Chicago rapper Common and “Hamilton’s” Lin-Manuel Miranda who also had an opportuniy to speak of the bridge between art and activism.
