Donald Trump’s first wife Ivana Trump is doing her best to be at the centre of attention, her memoir book Raising Trump is ready. So recent days was rather uneasy for all Trumps, especially Melania. The women have exchanged a very public war of words a la Real Housewives, even Andy Cohen, the producer od the TV series The Real Housewives was shocked.
The current FLOTUS has accused the 68-year-old Ivana Trump of making “attention-seeking and self-serving noise” after she joked in ABC’s Good Morning America interview that she was the real first lady. Ivana’s equivocal phrase sounded like:
“But I’m not really going to call him there because Melania is there, and I don’t want to cause any kind of jealousy or something like that, because I’m basically first Trump wife, okay? I’m First Lady, okay?”
In fact, it is not okay with Melania who fired back through her communications chief Stephanie Grisham, who issued a sharply worded statement.
“Mrs Trump has made the White House a home for Barron and the President,”
FLOTUS said, referring to the couple’s 11-year-old son.
“There is clearly no substance to this statement from an ex, this is unfortunately only attention-seeking and self-serving noise,”
she added.
